Head Nurse Stillbourne's Office

Welcome to my office. Have a seat and we will chat.

I am generally patrolling the halls of our asylum from 8am-5pm, M-F PST, and am in my office off and on for the rest of the day. Feel free to drop in anytime.

For Immediate assistance, please post to the community, or email ljasylum@gmail.com

About me: My name is Jennifer, I am a 35 year old professional photographer, graphic designer and webmistress to this site. I moderate several self injury and mental health communities. I am NOT a licensed practical nurse, nor do I claim to me. I use the term "nurse" just as a title, just as our "inmates" are not truely committed to an asylum. I help everyone on the _asylum_ community to create a safe environment where everyone can express themselves fully..

Our asylum here is a community of creative minds and abstract thinkers. We are what the world does not always understand, and because of this, a good deal of us feel outcast and alone. Others use this as fuel to create bigger and better things...My job here is to provide support to those who need it and to encourage those who are growing. I do my best to watch out for everyone here and alert them if they are falling too hard, or applaud them for doing well. Our "staff" here, as well as the residents, provide each other with distraction that is mutually beneficial and fun to see flourish. We have grown together into an odd 'family' of sorts... the staff does our best to break up the little scuffles that arise, as does in any family, and we lean on each other in our times of need. Together we have created something greater than ourselves: a 'virtual asylum' we can call home. A REAL home where everyone is accepted as they are and where they are and who they are. No strings attached.

My office doors are always open.
